About the company:
Open Fire Brewing is a micro brewery based out of beautiful Michigan. Known for their love of brewing and relaxing around a campfire, three friends established Open fire Brewing. The great outdoors and nature are close to their hearts and is essential to their brand.
The challenge:
In an industry as competitive as craft beer brewing they needed a versatile logo to captivate and persuade customers to choose their product.
What we did:
To capture their outdoorsy vibe in a simplistic way, we went with a flame from a campfire and incorporated negative space to create an outdoor scene — a forest with birds flying overhead. You’ll notice, the shape of the flame resembles the outline of Michigan, which will resonate with their audience.
To add a craftsy beer feel to the logo, we used block letters with a tapered effect. In the end, we brought the heat and added a woodsy, campfire feel with our new logo design.
